Activation: The Misunderstood Foundation of Patient Engagement

Before a digital health product can deliver engagement, the patient/user must first be activated on the product. That is, they must go through a funnel to become an onboarded, signed up, and an active user of the digital health product. Activation, thus, precedes engagement - without it there is no engagement, and no outcomes.
